Welcome to the BMG Foundation, a means of executing charitable projects that contribute to the society and culture that surround and nurture us. A decade ago, I had an idea that would bring together high profile business and social leaders from the East and West with a shared noble intent. Thus, the charitable equestrian GCC Polo Cup was born. Shortly thereafter, in aiming to enrich the Arab modern art scene by providing an arena for artists of international repute to exhibit their work, we established the Art Alive initiative. This year, we are proud to announce Al Farabi Concerto, a series of concerts by contemporary classical Arab composers whose work will be performed by internationally acclaimed musicians

All three events aim to build bridges between East and West, promote networks between business leaders and enhance artistic, musical and sporting endeavors. As they are cultural in nature, BMG Foundation has coined the term Corporate Cultural Responsibility (CCR) to describe these unique and noble activities.

Over the last decade, BMG Foundation has raised funds for needy children in Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, Lebanon and the UK; we have raised appreciation of sport and high art culture in the region; and we have brought the East closer to the West.

Now BMG Foundation stands poised on the threshold of a new decade. Corporate Social Responsibility has become a cornerstone of every world-class institution’s activities, but with our CCR mission, we are adding a cultural flavor to our social and community work. With enthusiasm, we are looking forward to another successful decade of enhancing the culture of this global village that our world has truly become.

We sincerely thank you, friends and colleagues, for your interest and support.
